Jackson's Turn

And now for an update on our sweet Jackson. He is such an awesome little guy! He is 3 1/2 years old now and LOVES playing with his trains, cars, sticks, bugs, rocks, and drums. He is such a sweet brother to his sisters and loves to be the hero. Liv will be crying and upset about something and Jackson will say, "I will be the hero!" I love that! I took him to run an errand with me at night a few nights ago and when we were coming home I said, "Hey, bud. Thanks so much for coming with me!." He responded with, "Mama, I know you were scared so I came with you to be your hero." LOVE HIM! He also loves to wrestle! He is, as many of you have met him and commented, "all boy." I'm not exactly sure what that means, but he does demonstrate many of the characteristics typically associated with males.

Jackson got out all of these toys "for Lucy" to play with. He just kept surrounding her.

This was Jackson's first day of pre-school. He didn't want his picture taken!

Now we got a good smile!!

Jackson and Papa went to have special time together when Papa was visiting. They both loved it!
Wrestling.

Jackson LOVES his little sister. He is so sweet and tender with her.

Jackson is also a big fan of his tongue.

This is a very typical silly Jackson picture.

This is back to the first day of school when Jackson didn't want his picture taken!

Sweet and handsome boy

Here are some fun Jackson facts.

1. He LOVES Golden Spoon yogurt with M&M's or cookie dough on top.

2. He will climb on anything that is in front of him.

3. He loves to water the grass with the garden hose.

4. He does a very intense flying running front kick when he is wrestling. Beware.

5. He is always hungry.

6. He would include the words poop, potty, and all related words in every sentence if we would let him.

7. He made up the word "cockabobo" and it has become a common word in our home.

8. He loves to clean. He frequently asks for a washcloth and bucket of soapy water to clean outside.

9. There was a girl in his class who has been crying for her mom every day in preschool. I asked him if he had gone to check on her or comfort her. His response was, "No. She has stinky breath." He has a very intact sense of smell.

10. He wants me (Carrie) to wear my hair in a ponytail every day. If I come in to wake him up and it is down the first thing he always says is, "I don't like it when you wear your hair like that." I guess he likes the sporty look??

11. He rather enjoys giving "puppy lick" kisses.

12. He is the best three year old boy we could ever imagine. We are so crazy about this kid!
