I thought it was time for an update on our sweet little Olivia Grace. She is quite the character and we are always amazed by her silly sayings, sharp mind, compassionate heart, and wisdom. She is now doing school and LOVING it. She is in the Kids choir, Kids small groups, and Ballet. She loves to paint, color, and make pictures for anyone she has ever met. She also loves playing games. Guess Who is her favorite. Here are some fun facts and pictures about Miss Olivia.
1. She likes to be called Liv these days.
2. She could eat Honey-Nut Cheerios for breakfast every single morning and be quite content.
3. She could drink Ranch Dressing. I think she probably has. Seriously, she loves the stuff.
4. She is very much a creature of habit. She likes the same things in the same ways every day.
5. She LOVES to have her back or belly "softly scratched." She often tells me, "Mom, do it the very best you can." No sloppy scratching for us.
6. She absolutely LOVES reading books. We probably read for 30min to an hour every day.
7. She frequently asks very deep theological questions. "Dad, why were we made? Why are we alive? Dad, why do we get in trouble for Adam and Eve's sin?"
8. She feels things very deeply. (See previous post about new kitchen table - one example of many).
9. Art is her favorite subject in school.
10. She adores her daddy. They have quite the sweet relationship.
11. She really is very interested in orphans and helping the poor. Two questions she asked me the other day. . . "Mama, did you know there are kids who go to bed every night without a mommy singing to them? Can we please adopt an orphan mommy, please??" and "Mama, can you please tell me how to get rich so I can go across the sea to a far land to help people? I want to help them plant grass, buy them cars, take them to the grocery store to buy food." Wow.
12. She can sing almost all of the Disney songs by heart. We have the CD's and she has them on most of the time.
13. She wants to be a veterinarian, a caretaker of orphans, and a jockey when she grows up. There has to be a way all three of those things can work together, right?? :)
She is quite the extraordinary little girl and we feel so blessed to get to spend every day with her!!

Sweet Liv... I would LOVE to have you guys come to my office for lunch one day, she'd love it. Let me know if you're interested and we'll get something set up.
I can't believe how grown up she looks! I still remember how tiny she was when she was born. She is so beautiful.
Carrie! What a precious gift your little daughter is. My goodness - God presses on her heart and she listens. I personally looooooooove the sweet ballet picture! Tell her I think she is beautiful - and to keep that painting up! :) We would be best friends if I lived in California! :) Love y'all...
