Cars, Cars, and More Cars

It all started with one matchbox car. Now, sweet Jackson has a collection of over 100 cars. He lines them up and then puts them in his wagon. Then he will build a tunnel for them with his legos. After that he will put them in the stroller and move them to another part of the house and dump them out and then line them up again. A good part of every day is spent playing with the cars, lining up the cars, cleaning the cars with a wet cloth, or having contests to see which one will zoom down the garage ramp the quickest. He is very particular about how they are lined up, too! Try moving one out of line and you are likely to receive a pretty harsh rebuke!! At pretty much any point in the day Jackson has at least one car on his person. Yes, even in the bathtub or in bed. There is one car that has an extra special place in both of our hearts. . .I took him on a "special date" one night and bought him some frozen yogurt and one of his first cars. He almost always has this car with him. It is all scratched up and well loved and definitely not the fanciest of his collection. But if you ask him where he got it he will say, "on my special date with mama." Love that kid!! Here are a few pics of the massive collection!!
