On January 27 we celebrated 8 years of marriage. These 8 years have been filled with unexpected and expected joys, hard times that we were not prepared for. There have been adjustments that have brought us to our knees (quite literally.) We have decided there is still no one else we would rather walk through the highs and the lows with. Here are some pics of our anniversary weekend. We went down to Dana Point and stayed in our favorite bed and breakfast, the Blue Lantern, for THREE DAYS and TWO NIGHTS! It was so great. Gramma Nancy helped make it happen by staying home with the three babes. They did great. Our weekend included a trip to one of our favorite places, Burke Williams, lots of delicious food, a trip to a very empty Disneyland, and a relaxing bike ride down by the harbor. Sigh. It was wonderful. Here are a few pics.

Okay...your pictures actually made me cry. Not because they are so beautiful (although they are and the place looks amazing), but it made me realize how much Jerrod and I need a day away together! If only we could get our kids well...
