Our sweet, sweet Lucy turned ONE on Tuesday!! We really can't believe it. Here are a few photos from the day. Gramma Nancy even made a quick trip out for the special day. She got to eat her cupcake, open presents, and we ended the day at Disneyland.

This was the day before her birthday. I kept hearing Jackson say, "And here, and here, and here, and here, and here, and here." It turns out that he was deciding where to put the stamps.
Liv loves carrying Lucy around. Lucy likes it too.
I LOVE this video. Lucy opened the card that Grammy and Papa B sent her. She thought it was so great. It has been a big hit at our house!

Lucy's name means "light" and that is exactly what she has been to us this past year. . . a bright, beautiful, light in our home. We love you, Lucy Leigh!

i just wanted to let you know that this post makes me smile so much that i have "favorited" it so i can come back for a pick-me-up any time. from the adorable sibling pics to the funny anecdotes and especially the video of lucy and the card... it's just the best.
